Risen, Level Designer
Piranha Bytes 2007-2009
Starting as an intern and later level designer I contributed various locations to Risen's gameworld. This task included not only planning the location but also asset production and ingame placing. Further I collaborated very closely with the story department.

When working in such a small team on such a big title (we were around 20 people) you have to wear a lot of hats. I owe this circumstance the opportunity to work in different parts of the game developement such as character modeling, writing, game design (apart from level design) and QA.

Towards the end of production my task was to refurbish the locations, helping Risen to its detailed and beautiful gameworld.
